Kaolin Clay, (also known as white clay, French green clay, or China clay), has long been used as a natural and effective option in skin care.
This clay is a great exfoliant, widely known as a very gentle clay, it is ideal for all skin types and is especially useful for those with skin sensitivities. When used on the face, kaolin will gently exfoliate the skin and extract impurities from the pores. However, it is a greater source of nutrition for the face than an extractor for the pores. Kaolin is also an excellent option for toning and balancing oily skin when used regularly.
Great for any skin type, this gentle mask is made with pure ingredients, including kaolin clay, aloe vera, rose water, and essential oils. Bentonite Clay, a healing and detoxifying clay, useful in removing toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals from the body, especially the skin.
This clay is derived from volcanic ash and contains essential minerals, including calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron and potassium. According to Dr. Axe, "bentonite clay can bind to bacteria and toxins living on the surface of the skin and within pores to extract these from the pores, helping to reduce the outbreak of blemishes, alleviate redness, and also to fight allergic reactions from irritating lotions or face washes, and even helps heal poison ivy. It can also act as an antibiotic treatment when applied topically to the skin, helping to calm skin infections, like contact dermatitis, and speed up healing time of wounds, even when prescription antibiotics were not able to help solve the problem".

Note: Clay products should be refrigerated and used within a few weeks. Clay is a naturally dry product, keep container closed tightly between uses to prevent drying. Also, do NOT add water to the product container, this could create bacterial growth. If clay begins to dry, scoop a small amount to a separate clean container, then add a bit of liquid to create a moist consistency. Adding a bit of toner is the best option, water can be used but any remaining clay should be discarded if water has been added. If clay develops a foul odor it should be discarded and not used.
